REvolusjon (working title) explores the human being from a biological and anthropological perspective, driven by themes of sustainability and biodiversity. Inspired by evolutionary theory, the project speculates on how humanity might have developed differently — both in the past and the future — and what our bodies could look like if our environment and conditions on Earth were radically changed.
REvolution
Blending fantasy and dystopia, the work investigates these questions through movement, sound, and costume, with a focus on creating a dance performance for school children and families. The visual world combines the natural and the man-made material, questioning what evolution might look like if reimagined — or revolutionized.
The project has been developed through three residencies at Davvi Scene in Hammerfest (2024), Elefantteatret in Stavanger (2024), and “I am Undone" at Kloden Teater (2025). REvolusjon is a co-production with Kloden Teater in Oslo, Norway, and is premiering at Kloden teater in 2027.
